Digital ticketing platform Ticket2Me partners with GCash

Singapore-based and Filipino-owned ticketing startup Ticket2Me has partnered with mobile money service GCash for a series of promos starting this February. The first promo is “#TicketEasy with Ticket2Me and GCash,” a cashback program where ticket buyers who buy tickets on Ticket2Me during the promo period get P100 back after their first transaction. The amount will be credited back to their GCash wallets after the promo period.

“This partnership between Ticket2Me and GCash, a company backed by both the Alibaba Group and Globe Telecom, is evidence of our relentless commitment to bringing value to Filipino event organizers and ticket buyers,” said Darwin Mariano, founder and CEO, Ticket2Me.

To get their P100 cashback, GCash users may visit http://www.ticket2me.net or download the Ticket2Me app on iOS or Android, choose from among a variety of live events currently hosted on the platform, including culinary events, concerts, photography classes, musical theater shows, leadership and professional growth workshops, and many others, and pay for their tickets using the GCash option.

Ticket2Me is on track with its 2019 expansion plans, including a stronger presence in Singapore where its regional office is located, as well as planned forays into Indonesia and other Southeast Asian markets. Ticket2Me has also successfully raised capital from both Philippine and Singapore investors. Ticket2Me has not disclosed the amounts the company has raised to date.
