Banking on its strength in the display space, multinational electronics company TCL Corp. enters the smartphone market with TCL PLEX, which features the brand’s display optimization and camera technology.
To distinguish itself from the plethora of smartphone brands in the market, TCL equipped TCL PLEX with a dedicated display engine paired with TCL NXTVISION, the brand’s color accuracy technology it uses in monitors and screens.
“We don’t feel we are late into the market with TCL PLEX,” said Rudolph Santos, country head, TCL Mobile Philippines. “We needed to understand the market so we can implement our strategies moving forward.”
