Valenzuela City partners with PayMaya for seamless payment solutions

The local government of Valenzuela City partners with PayMaya to enable an end-to-end cashless payment solution that allows businesses and residents to secure permits through the integrated online permit application platform — the Paspas Permit system.

Through this partnership, business owners and residents can conveniently settle their fees using a PayMaya account as well as any debit or credit card at Valenzuela City Government website via PayMaya Checkout.

Valenzuela City held a Paspas Permit Fair at the City Hall during the business permit renewal season which concluded on Jan. 20th. Taxpayers benefitted from hands-on coaching on how to use the system, allowing them to renew or set up their businesses in a breeze. The Fair also allowed them to open their PayMaya accounts.

Paspas Permit

Paspas Permit is the flagship system of the upgraded Valenzuela City 3S Plus Online Services platform that allows residents to easily process building and construction permits application, and real property tax payments, and conveniently request for Certified True Copy of Tax Declaration, Tax Mapping Certificate, Certificate of Non-Improvement and Appraisal of Real Property, and Certified True Copy of Birth, Death, and Marriage Certificate.

With Paspas Permit now equipped with PayMaya’s payment platforms, Valenzuela City business owners can now experience cashless convenience. The City joins other forward-looking national agencies, such as Social Security System (SSS), Pag-IBIG, Bureau of Internal Revenues (BIR), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), National Home Mortgage Finance Corp. (NHMFC), and the Department of Science and Technology (DOST), in embracing digital payment technologies to help provide better service to citizens.
