Acerpure enters air conditioner market with ‘Chill’ line

Acerpure Chill

Acerpure, the lifestyle brand of Acer, has entered the large-appliance market with the launch of Acerpure Chill, a new line of window-type air conditioners designed for Filipino homes.

The expansion comes five years after Acerpure was established. The brand has developed more than 20 products since then. Its move into air conditioning reflects plans to meet growing demand for energy-efficient and environmentally friendly cooling systems.

Acerpure Chill units use a Dual Inverter Compressor system. Two rotors operate together to cool rooms faster while using less electricity than standard air conditioners. The system is designed to run quietly, maintain stable temperatures, and support longer product life.

The units use R32 refrigerant, which has zero Ozone Depletion Potential and lower Global Warming Potential compared with traditional refrigerants. The company said this allows users to cool their homes while reducing environmental impact.

Acerpure Chill also features Hydrophilic Fin Technology. The cooling fins are coated with a hydrophilic gold layer that helps reduce corrosion and improve durability. This is intended to maintain consistent performance over time, especially in humid conditions.

The air conditioners are equipped with a Smart Filter Clean Indicator that alerts users when it is time to clean the filter. This feature helps maintain cooling performance and system efficiency.

Acerpure Chill units have a top-discharge structure that directs air upward. This setup helps reduce air recirculation, lowers noise at ground level, and requires less horizontal space. The compact form factor is suited for homes where space is limited.

With the launch of Acerpure Chill, the brand expands its portfolio beyond small appliances and lifestyle products into home cooling systems.
