The Smart BESS by Albion Technologies, a UK-based firm, utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) to optimize the performance of individual battery cells. Traditional BESS solutions often operate at the lowest common denominator, but the Smart BESS extracts up to 95% of each battery’s capacity per cycle, surpassing the industry standard of 80%.
