The Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) has introduced Personal Cyber Insurance exclusively tailored for BPI Debit Cardholders. This initiative serves as an additional layer of protection against the evolving risks in the digital world.

“This offering provides enhanced security and protection for their daily transactions, underscoring our commitment to their financial well-being,” said Jenny Lacerna, head, Product & Sales for Unsecured Lending and Cards, BPI.

The BPI MS Personal Cyber Insurance is designed to provide comprehensive protection to Debit Cardholders, extending coverage to all BPI debit customers. The insurance includes features such as E-commerce Purchase Protection, and reimbursing customers for online purchases made using their BPI Debit Mastercard in case of accidental damage or non-delivery by a fraudulent seller. It also covers Lost Card Protection, offering coverage for unauthorized or fraudulent transactions on the card reported up to 12 hours prior to the incident being reported to BPI.
