DJI Philippines has launched the Osmo 360, the company’s first 360-degree action camera designed for immersive content creation.
The Osmo 360 features a 1-inch 360 imaging system and is the first to use a square HDR image sensor. Unlike traditional rectangular sensors, the square design maximizes sensor utilization by 25 percent, leading to higher image quality and lower power consumption.
The device supports 8K video recording at 50 frames per second and can continuously shoot for up to 100 minutes at 8K/30fps. It also captures 360-degree still photos at up to 120 megapixels. Its pixel size, twice the industry standard, improves low-light performance, reduces noise, and provides higher dynamic range.
Built with portability in mind, the Osmo 360 has a lightweight, compact body with 105 GB of built-in storage. Its design allows for lens switching during recording, making it suitable for travel vlogs and first-person action shots. The single lens mode functions as a traditional action camera, while its boost mode offers a 170-degree field of view and smooth 4K/120fps recording.
The device is engineered to endure harsh conditions, capable of operating in temperatures as low as -20 degrees Celsius. Battery performance is supported by the Osmo 360 Battery Extension Rod, which can recharge the unit to 50 percent in just 12 minutes.
Other features include HorizonSteady and RockSteady stabilization, gesture and voice control, slow motion capture, and an “invisible selfie stick” effect that removes the accessory from 360 footage without post-editing. Content creators can edit videos using DJI Mimo or DJI Studio, both compatible with the camera.
For sound, the Osmo 360 supports OsmoAudio Direct Microphone Connection, enabling users to connect two DJI microphone transmitters without a receiver for higher-quality audio. The camera is also compatible with Osmo Action series accessories, thanks to its magnetic quick-release design.
DJI Philippines offers the Osmo 360 in two packages. The Standard Combo, priced at ₱24,490, includes the camera, action extreme battery, protective pouch, cleaning cloth, USB-C cable, and lens protector. The Adventure Combo, priced at ₱30,990, includes additional accessories such as a multifunctional battery case, adjustable quick release adapter mount, invisible selfie stick, and extra protection gear.
