Echelon Philippines 2025, a major tech and startup conference organized by e27 with Brainsparks, is expected to boost investment and foster new tech innovation in the Philippines.
Following the success of its 2024 debut, which drew over 2,500 attendees and showcased 15 startups, Echelon’s return in 2025 aims to further support the country’s burgeoning startup sector — a growing industry valued at over $6.4 billion.
The event’s first run helped spotlight Filipino startups and positioned the Philippines as an emerging innovation hub within Southeast Asia.
“Echelon Philippines 2024 set a standard for showcasing local talent and encouraging investment,” said Artie Lopez, co-founder of Brainsparks. “We are looking forward to 2025, where we’ll drive more substantial funding for our startup community.”
Lopez pointed out that a key goal for next year is to attract investors and promote Filipino tech ventures on a global scale.
A highlight of the previous event was the Startup Pitch competition, where SolX, a platform focused on digital energy solutions, won top honors. This competition offered a stage for Filipino startups to gain recognition and explore investment avenues.
“Collaboration with government agencies has been instrumental,” said Mohan Belani, co-founder and CEO of e27. “By aligning efforts, we can strengthen the ecosystem and drive economic impact.”
The upcoming 2025 event plans more extensive startup showcases and deeper engagements with investors, aligning with the Philippine government’s tech-driven economic goals. With policies like the Innovative Startup Act, the country aims to establish itself as a regional tech leader, supported by Echelon’s role in bridging public and private sector efforts.
