EcoFlow, a portable power and renewable energy solutions provider, has partnered with Philippine nongovernment organization Angat Buhay to provide electricity for earthquake relief operations in Southern Mindanao.
EcoFlow donated portable power stations and solar charging systems as damage from the earthquake disrupted the power grid. The equipment will support communities and relief sites in General Santos City, Sarangani province, and Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental.
“Access to dependable electricity is critical during disaster response, particularly in the immediate aftermath when communities and emergency teams are operating without essential infrastructure,” said Henry Liu, regional director, APAC, EcoFlow. “Reliable access to electricity can make a meaningful difference for responders and affected communities during emergencies. We hope to strengthen response efforts and help communities recover more quickly.”
The equipment will initially power temporary medical facilities, communication devices, lighting, volunteer coordination centers, community kitchens, and other essential tools.
EcoFlow also trained the Angat Buhay team, including Raphael Martin Magno, executive director, Angat Buhay, and Menard Mabutol, program manager for Climate Action, on setting up and using the equipment.

The donation is part of EcoFlow’s Power For All corporate social responsibility program, which provides clean energy to disaster-affected areas.
