Alibaba Cloud, the cloud unit of Alibaba Group, has once again secured its position as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Cloud Database Management Systems (DBMS) for the fourth consecutive year.
Gartner, a renowned research and consulting firm, assessed global cloud vendors on their Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision in cloud DBMS. According to Gartner, Leaders demonstrate strong execution of their current vision and are poised for future success.

During the Apsara Conference in November 2023, Alibaba Cloud introduced improvements across its database portfolio, including PolarDB, AnalyticDB, and Lindorm. Lindorm leverages a proprietary vector engine to accelerate the development of customized generative AI applications. The introduction of tools like Data Copilot enhances the ecosystem by offering intelligent data analytics support.
Alibaba Cloud’s serverless offerings include PolarDB and AnalyticDB, which provide greater flexibility and scalability. The integration of PolarDB and AnalyticDB into ApsaraDB HTAP offers international customers a comprehensive solution for high-performance, cost-effective data management.
