Golden Visa Centrale roadshow highlights EU residency options

Porto Portugal

Golden Visa Centrale is holding a June roadshow to present residency-by-investment opportunities in Portugal and Greece, targeting Filipinos seeking greater global mobility, long-term residency options, and potential pathways to European citizenship.

The Philippines-based residency-by-investment consultancy said more than 400 families have already started their golden visa applications through its programs. The roadshow will provide details on investment requirements, residency benefits, and application processes for both countries.

Vicky Luis, co-founder and president of Golden Visa Centrale, will lead the sessions and discuss how investors can gain residency rights in Europe through qualifying investments.

Under Portugal’s program, investors can place €500,000 in a private equity fund backed by prime real estate in Lisbon’s central business district. The program offers a pathway to Portuguese citizenship after five years and requires a minimum stay of only seven days per year.

Golden Visa Centrale said the option may appeal to Filipino investors seeking access to Europe while maintaining their primary residence and business interests in the Philippines.

For Greece, investors can qualify for a residency permit through a €250,000 property investment in Athens’ Kastella district, an upscale neighborhood overlooking the Port of Mikrolimano. The program provides a five-year permanent residence visa and allows family reunification for up to three generations.

Additional benefits include visa-free travel within the Schengen Area, no minimum stay requirement, and relatively fast processing times. The program is positioned as an option for families looking for greater travel flexibility and long-term access to Europe.

The roadshow will be held on June 3 at Manila House BGC, June 4 at The Last Chukker Manila Polo Club, and June 5 at Shangri-La BGC for private consultations.
