Global AI devices provider HONOR Philippines has won the EISA Foldable Smartphone 2026-2027 award for the HONOR Magic V6.
The Expert Imaging and Sound Association (EISA) recognized the foldable phone for its speed, long battery life, and stronger protection against damage. The award could help HONOR attract more buyers in the high-end smartphone market.
The HONOR Magic V6 uses the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor and comes with up to 16GB of RAM. It has smooth 120Hz AMOLED screens and a large 6,660mAh Silicon-Carbon Battery. The phone supports 80W wired charging and 66W wireless charging.
EISA also cited its IP68 and IP69 ratings, which mean the phone can withstand dust, water, and strong water sprays. This is important for foldable phones because their hinges and bending screens may be more prone to damage than those of regular smartphones.

The award comes as HONOR gains more ground in the Philippines and other Southeast Asian markets, even as fewer smartphones are being sold across the region.
HONOR ranked fourth among smartphone brands in both the Philippines and Malaysia during the second quarter of 2026, according to research firm Omdia. This put HONOR among the five biggest smartphone brands in both countries.
The ranking came as smartphone shipments across Southeast Asia fell 23% from a year earlier. HONOR’s fourth-place finish shows that the brand remains competitive despite weaker demand for new phones.
The HONOR Magic V6 is available for preorder until Sept. 4, 2026, for ₱119,999. It comes in red, gold, and white.
Customers who preorder from an HONOR Experience Store, partner store, or online channel will receive a free HONOR Pad X8b worth P12,999 when they claim the phone on Sept. 5.
