Lenovo has expanded its gaming hardware lineup with two LOQ Essential laptops, a customizable LOQ desktop, and two Legion monitors aimed at new and competitive PC gamers.
The Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IPH11 is designed for students who need one Windows 11 computer for school, entertainment, and gaming. It uses an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor with built-in Intel Arc graphics instead of a separate graphics card.
Its processor and graphics system can share available memory, allowing the laptop to direct more resources to games, streaming, or creative software when needed. Intel Arc graphics also support ray tracing for more realistic lighting and Intel XeSS, which uses artificial intelligence (AI) to improve images and frame rates.
The laptop promises to deliver up to 21 hours of battery life. It has a 15.3-inch display with up to a 165Hz refresh rate and full sRGB color coverage. The device is also 10% lighter and slimmer than its predecessor.
For buyers who prefer a dedicated graphics card, the Lenovo LOQ Essential 15IRH11 combines Intel Core 200 series processors with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Laptop GPU. It offers the same display options and a lighter, slimmer design.
Lenovo is also offering the LOQ Tower 17IRH11 for gamers who want a ready-made desktop that can be upgraded later. It supports up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti GPU, 32GB of DDR5 memory, Wi-Fi 7, and additional internal storage. Tool-free access makes replacing or adding components easier.
The new Legion 27Q-20 and Legion 27U-20 monitors address different gaming needs. The 27Q-20 has QHD resolution and a 320Hz refresh rate for fast-paced competitive games. The 27U-20 can switch between 4K resolution at 180Hz and full HD at 360Hz.
Both 27-inch monitors support AMD FreeSync Premium, Adaptive Sync, and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technology to reduce screen tearing and stuttering. They also include HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connections for gaming PCs and consoles.
