LG Electronics has introduced its 2025 TV lineup, featuring OLED and QNED models powered by new AI processors and enhanced user experiences. The updated TVs offer improved picture and sound quality, smarter controls, and a redesigned remote control to make daily use simpler and more personal.
Marking 12 years of OLED development, LG’s latest models include the OLED AI B5, which produces more natural colors, and the OLED evo AI C5, which uses Brightness Booster to improve clarity and vibrancy. The OLED evo AI G5, designed for more premium setups, adds sharp visuals in a modern, slim frame.
LG also introduced a larger 100-inch QNED evo AI TV with Dynamic QNED Color. This model promises improved contrast and color detail in a compact design for bigger home entertainment spaces.
The new TVs run on the latest α-series processors: α11 AI Processor Gen2, α9 AI Processor Gen8, and α8 AI Processor Gen2. These chips support clearer visuals, faster performance, and more responsive controls. The α11 model is designed for high-performance content, while the α8 supports day-to-day viewing with ease.
The 2025 models are designed to learn user habits and adjust accordingly. With AI Concierge and Voice ID, users can speak commands like “Show me action movies” to receive tailored suggestions. The TVs recognize different users without requiring a profile change.
Upgraded audio and visual tools
The updated interface now features customizable Quick Cards and an AI-powered welcome screen. These additions aim to create a smart home hub experience from the moment the TV turns on.
LG’s AI Picture Pro technology maps each scene in 3D to fine-tune contrast and depth. Alongside it, AI Sound Pro adapts audio based on what’s playing, giving viewers a more immersive listening experience.
The redesigned AI Magic Remote has a new layout. The AI button is now in a more accessible position, and a new Home button replaces the Input button. Users can still point, click, and scroll, but now with easier access to smart home controls.
A built-in AI chatbot helps users resolve issues by recognizing requests and offering troubleshooting tips. For example, reporting “My TV turns on by itself” triggers a scan of relevant settings.
