Streaming Lionsgate Play is offering a variety of shows this October that combine historical dramas, thrilling mysteries, and action-packed adventures. Whether audiences are drawn to crime-solving, post-war struggles, or high-stakes conspiracies, the platform has something new to explore.

“Three Pines” is a crime drama set in the seemingly quiet village of Quebec. The series follows Chief Inspector Armand Gamache, portrayed by Alfred Molina, as he uncovers the dark secrets hidden in the town while solving murder cases. This series, based on Louise Penny’s novels, is now available for streaming.

For those interested in historical fiction, “Ten Pound Poms” is also now streaming. Set in the 1950s, the series tells the story of British families migrating to Australia with hopes of a better life, only to find unexpected challenges waiting for them.

Premiered on Oct. 11 is the final season of “Power Book II: Ghost.” The series continues to follow Tariq St. Patrick as he struggles to escape his father’s criminal legacy while facing new and old enemies in the dangerous world of drug trafficking.

On Oct. 18, “Paris Has Fallen” introduces a new storyline within the popular “Has Fallen” franchise. The show follows a French protection officer and an MI6 operative as they work together to stop a terrorist plot in France.

Closing out the month, “Magpie Murders” premieres on Oct. 25. The series offers a blend of fiction and reality as an editor, played by Lesley Manville, becomes embroiled in a real-life mystery after discovering an unfinished manuscript.

With a diverse lineup, Lionsgate Play promises a suspenseful October for viewers.
