Anthropic’s Claude models are now available on Microsoft Foundry, running on Microsoft Azure with NVIDIA GB300 Blackwell Ultra GPUs, giving enterprises a new option for building AI agents that can handle specialized business tasks.
The availability allows companies using Azure to develop and deploy more advanced AI systems using Claude models with NVIDIA accelerated computing. The setup is designed to improve AI performance and efficiency while helping organizations reduce the cost of running large-scale AI workloads.
Claude in Microsoft Foundry runs on NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems with NVIDIA Quantum-X800 InfiniBand networking, enabling businesses to create more powerful AI agents, including specialized sub-agents that can perform tasks across different business areas.
As companies increasingly adopt AI agents that can automate more complex workflows, access to high-performance computing has become a key requirement. These AI systems can support tasks such as analyzing information, assisting employees, and handling specialized operations with less manual intervention.
NVIDIA is also working with Anthropic to expand developer capabilities by integrating NVIDIA tools into the Anthropic stack. Through NVIDIA verified agent skills and access to accelerated computing, enterprises can build AI agents with more specific capabilities tailored to their business needs.
“Enterprises can run Claude agents on Azure by using the NVIDIA Secure Agent Workspace Reference Design,” NVIDIA said. The reference design provides a framework for deploying autonomous AI agents in a controlled environment, with security features covering identity, network access, credentials, and runtime policies.
The collaboration builds on the partnership between Microsoft, NVIDIA, and Anthropic announced in November to expand enterprise access to Claude models and make them available on NVIDIA-powered computing infrastructure.
For businesses adopting cloud-based AI tools, expanded access to enterprise-grade AI models could support the development of automation solutions across industries such as finance, retail, healthcare, and customer service.
