Power Mac Center (PMC) celebrated the release of the iPhone 16 with a nationwide midnight launch on Oct. 18, welcoming eager customers to four venues: Greenbelt 3 in Makati, SM Mall of Asia, Robinsons Galleria Cebu, and SM Lanang in Davao. The event marked the first midnight launch held in the Visayas and Mindanao regions.

“Power Mac Center goes all-out with iPhone launch events to indulge our customers’ love for the technology,” said Joey Alvarez, director for Marketing and Product Management, PMC. “Their loyalty and support emboldened us to mount midnight launches in Cebu and Davao for the first time.”

Each venue featured live entertainment and interactive games, creating an exciting atmosphere for attendees. In Makati, performances from hip-hop group UPeepz, singers Barbie Almalbis and Dionela, and OPM band Sponge Cola kept the crowd energized. In Cebu, local synth-pop duo Mandaue Nights entertained fans, while in Davao, hip-hop group PlayerTwo brought their unique sound to their hometown.

Exclusive perks

PMC also offered exclusive perks for early birds, including premium accessories and discounts. Customers at all locations enjoyed vouchers for iPhone 16 cases from Casetify, GrabCar discounts, and Klook travel deals.

For those who couldn’t make it to the midnight events, over 120 PMC and The Loop stores across the country are open, with deals running through the weekend. Special discounts of up to P10,000 and free accessories are available for those purchasing an iPhone 16 by Oct. 20, 2024.

The launch is part of PMC’s “iPhone for All” campaign, making the iPhone 16 more accessible with payment plans and trade-in offers. “This is about making the iPhone experience available to everyone, and we’ve worked with partners to offer flexible options,” Alvarez added.
