realme has introduced the realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition, featuring a Hogwarts crest that changes color under direct sunlight or ultraviolet (UV) light. Priced at ₱39,999, the limited-edition smartphone will have fewer than 200 units available nationwide.
The phone uses realme’s Quadra Light-Sensing Color-changing Tech to reveal the signature colors of Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff on its back. The light-reactive crest is the main feature of a design that extends the Harry Potter theme to the phone’s interface and packaging.
The Magic Brown finish features an Enchanted Texture Leather back with a three-dimensional diamond pattern inspired by the wizard chessboard. A gold, Hedwig-inspired frame surrounds the camera lenses, with matching gold edges and the words “Welcome to Hogwarts” laser-engraved along the side.
On-screen features include Hogwarts Castle wallpapers in two settings: Golden Dawn for daytime and Mystic Dusk for nighttime. Hogwarts acceptance letters inspired the startup and fingerprint animations, while more than 30 app icons have been redesigned to match the theme. Users can also add watermarks inspired by the four Hogwarts houses to their photos.
The phone comes in a trunk-style gift box bearing the Hogwarts crest. It includes a Hogwarts acceptance letter addressed to Mr. Potter, postcards featuring Harry, Ron, and Hermione, four-house bookmarks, Hogwarts Crest pins, and a Hogwarts Express-inspired ticket.
The realme 16 Pro 5G Harry Potter Edition joins the realme 16 Pro 5G Series. Hogwarts-inspired store displays will be at SM Fairview, SM North EDSA, and SM Calamba. The device will also be available at kiosks in SM Clark, SM Dasmariñas, and SM Megamall.
