Review: Fit in style with a smarter, sleeker Xiaomi Smart Band 10

Xiaomi Band 10 Back End News Main

I’ve been using the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 for the past couple of weeks, and I’m beginning to understand why Xiaomi is trying to position this wearable as more than just a fitness tracker. The Band 10 is marketed under the tagline “Fit in Style,” and it delivers on that idea by blending health tracking, convenience, and customizable design into one compact device.

The Xiaomi Band 10 is designed for people who want a balance of function and fashion. It’s useful for someone who’s health-conscious, wants to monitor his or her progress, and also values a wearable that looks good in both casual and professional settings.

Design and display

One of the things I appreciated immediately was the 1.72-inch AMOLED display. It’s sharp, with a resolution of 212×520 pixels at 326 PPI, and it gets bright enough at 1500 nits to stay visible outdoors. The 60Hz refresh rate also makes swiping through menus feel smoother than older models I’ve tried.

I like that Xiaomi gave the Band 10 some design flexibility. The aluminum alloy and ceramic frames make it feel premium, and the different strap options (TPU and fluororubber in several colors) let me change its look easily. The 200+ watch faces give even more room to personalize, so I wasn’t stuck with just a couple of static designs. But I hardly change it as often, though. When I get comfortable with one design, it will be stuck there for months.  And with its 5ATM water resistance, I had no problem if I’m sweating during workouts without worrying about splashes.

Fitness and health tracking

For fitness, the Band 10 comes with 150+ workout modes. I tried it mainly for running, indoor cycling, and strength training, and the tracking was consistent. I also used it for jump rope and hula hoops.

Health monitoring is one of the stronger points. The heart rate sensor worked well for day-to-day monitoring and workouts, and I found the heart rate broadcast feature useful when pairing it with other devices. Sleep tracking didn’t just log hours slept but also gave me personalized guidance on improving sleep quality. Combined with all-day tracking for SpO2, stress, and activity levels, the Band 10 does a solid job of keeping me aware of my health.

All of this syncs into the Mi Fitness app, which presents the data in a clean, easy-to-read way. I liked being able to check long-term trends and set specific goals within the app.

Battery and charging

Battery life is another strength. With its 233mAh battery, Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of typical use, and in my testing, I got around two weeks with notifications, workouts, and brightness set fairly high. That’s still very good compared to many smartwatches that barely last three days.

Charging is also convenient. The magnetic charger clips on easily, and I was able to get a full charge in about one hour, which makes it easy to top up even in between busy schedules.

The Band 10 supports Bluetooth 5.4 and works with both Android (8.0 and above) and iOS (12.0 and above). Pairing was simple, and the connection stayed stable.

Notifications are handled well, I was able to read messages and see call alerts on my wrist without constantly checking my phone. Basic controls like music playback, weather, and reminders also worked smoothly, which added to the convenience.

After wearing the Band 10 every day, what stood out to me was how well it balanced being a health tool and a style accessory. The screen is bright enough to feel like a small smartwatch, but the lightweight design makes it easy to wear all day and even at night for sleep tracking.

I didn’t feel the need to take it off often, which is exactly what I want in a fitness band. The UI is simple, the touch response is quick, and I rarely felt any lag. It’s not overloaded with unnecessary features, instead, it focuses on things that make sense for its target audience.

The Xiaomi Smart Band 10 feels like a natural upgrade for anyone who wants a step up from a basic fitness tracker without going into full smartwatch territory. It’s stylish enough to wear in different settings, reliable in terms of health tracking, and practical with its long battery life and quick charging.

In a nutshell, this is fitness band with 150+ sports modes and accurate health monitoring with long battery life that doesn’t need constant charging. It has customizable design with frames, straps, and watch faces that match personal style.

For its price and features, the Band 10 does exactly what Xiaomi promises, it lets you fit in style while keeping your health and activity in check.
