Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. introduced the Galaxy A57 5G and Galaxy A37 5G, adding AI features, improved cameras, and longer software support to its midrange Galaxy A series.
Both models run on One UI 8.5 and include Samsung’s “Awesome Intelligence,” a set of AI tools designed to make everyday tasks easier. Users can transcribe voice recordings into text, translate audio, and extract text or images directly from the screen using AI Select. The feature also supports drag-and-drop between apps for faster editing and multitasking.
In terms of photo editing, Object Eraser removes unwanted elements more cleanly, while tools like Filters and Edit Suggestions help improve images quickly. On the Galaxy A57 5G, additional features such as Best Face for group shots and Auto Trim for videos aim to simplify content creation.
Samsung is also integrating AI assistants deeper into the devices. An upgraded Bixby allows users to control settings using natural language, while Gemini can perform more complex tasks across apps.
Both phones come with a triple-camera system led by a 50MP main sensor, supported by an ultra-wide lens and a 5MP macro camera. Improved image processing and Nightography help capture clearer photos in low light, while AI scene optimization enhances portraits and backgrounds automatically.
The Galaxy A57 5G is equipped with upgraded processing power across CPU, GPU, and NPU, promising to deliver smoother performance for streaming, gaming, and multitasking. It also features a slimmer design, reduced bezels, and a bright Super AMOLED+ display with Vision Booster for better visibility outdoors.
The Galaxy A57 5G packs a 5,000mAh battery that can last up to two days on a single charge, supporting activities like video recording, editing, and streaming.
Samsung is also extending the lifespan of both devices with up to six generations of OS upgrades and long-term security updates, a move that adds value for users planning to keep their phones longer.
Both models carry an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, offering added durability for daily use.
