Seagate Technology Holdings plc has launched the Seagate Ultra Compact SSD in the Philippines, offering a small, portable storage solution for professionals who need fast and durable data access wherever they go.

The Seagate Ultra Compact SSD, which fits on a key ring, features transfer speeds of up to 1,000MB/s, making it easier to store and move large files across devices such as PCs, phones, tablets, and gaming consoles. It is available in 1TB and 2TB capacities, priced at ₱5,749 and ₱10,499, respectively.

Seagate designed the SSD to withstand daily wear and travel. It has 3-meter drop resistance, IP54 dust and water resistance, and comes with a removable rubber sleeve for added protection. The company said it also used at least 35% recycled materials in the product.

The SSD connects directly through a USB-C port and works with Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, tablets, and consoles without additional cables. It comes with a three-year limited warranty and three years of Seagate Rescue Data Recovery Services.

Customers also get added software perks, including Seagate Toolkit for file backup and syncing, a six-month trial of Dropbox Backup for cloud storage, and a six-month subscription to Mylio Photos+ for organizing and editing photos and videos.

The Seagate Ultra Compact SSD is available through authorized retail and online stores nationwide. To mark its launch, buyers who purchase the SSD between June 27 and July 15 will receive a ₱500 eGift voucher as part of a promotional offer.
