Soundcore, the audio brand under Anker Innovations, has launched the Liberty 5 true wireless earbuds in Southeast Asia. Priced at ₱5,995, the Liberty 5 features a slimmer design and offers voice-focused noise cancellation, aiming to improve audio quality for people on the go.
The Liberty 5 includes Adaptive ANC 3.0, which filters out voice-range noise in busy environments like subways or buses. The system scans the surroundings 180 times per minute to adjust sound in real time. During calls, six microphones work together to capture the user’s voice while minimizing background noise.
The earbuds also support Dolby Audio, allowing users to choose from three sound modes, Music, Movie, and Podcast, through the soundcore app. These settings help adjust the audio depending on what the user is listening to.
A new 9.2mm driver, made with a wool-paper composite, helps reduce sound distortion and improves clarity in higher frequencies. The Liberty 5 also supports LDAC for high-resolution streaming, preserving more audio detail.
For deeper bass, the earbuds use a dual bass tube system that balances low-end sound with the rest of the audio range.
Designed for daily travel, the Liberty 5 has an IP55 rating for water and dust resistance. A 10-minute quick charge gives up to five hours of use. The earbuds last up to 12 hours without noise canceling and 8 hours with it on. When fully charged with the case, the total playtime reaches 48 hours (ANC off) or 32 hours (ANC on).
Other features include Bluetooth 5.4, Google Fast Pair for quicker setup, and wireless charging through the SnapCharge case. The Liberty 5 is available in Black, White, Blue, Apricot, and Champagne Gold.
