TP-Link has launched the Archer BE220 in the Philippines, offering households an affordable way to upgrade to Wi-Fi 7 technology. The new router aims to deliver fast speeds, wide coverage, and stable performance for homes with multiple connected devices.
The Archer BE220 is designed to support various online activities, including remote work, streaming, gaming, and smart home setups. With speeds of up to 3.6Gbps, it allows users to stream 4K and 8K videos, play AR and VR games with minimal lag, and download large files even when multiple devices are online.
The router features Wi-Fi 7 capabilities, four high-performance antennas, and beamforming technology to improve signal strength and extend coverage throughout the home. It comes with one gigabit WAN port and four gigabit LAN ports, delivering up to 49% faster throughput and lower latency for devices like smart TVs, gaming consoles, and computers.
TP-Link said the Archer BE220 also uses Multi-Link Operation (MLO) to maintain stable connections across different devices by managing the 5GHz and 2.4GHz bands efficiently. It is equipped with 4K-QAM modulation for consistent performance and an improved cooling system to prevent overheating during extended use.
The router includes TP-Link HomeShield, which offers security features, parental controls, and customizable device priorities. Users can set up and monitor their home network through the TP-Link Tether app, which provides remote access and easy management.
The Archer BE220 is compatible with EasyMesh to create a seamless Wi-Fi network across larger spaces and works with all previous Wi-Fi generations, devices, and internet service providers.
The TP-Link Archer BE220 is available in the Philippines starting at ₱2,399.
