VeritasPay Philippines Inc. aims to grow its merchant network by 30% to 40% this year as more businesses across the country adopt digital payment options.
The payment solutions provider also expects processed transaction volume to increase by 45%, because of its expansion outside Metro Manila and investments in partnerships and internal capabilities.
Since focusing primarily on Metro Manila and nearby areas in 2021, VeritasPay has expanded its operations across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. The company now serves merchants nationwide, providing a single platform that accepts credit and debit cards, QR code payments, online banking, and other digital payment methods.
Businesses can use VeritasPay to accept payments through point-of-sale (POS) terminals, mobile devices, online checkout pages, and banking channels without having to deal with multiple payment providers. The setup is designed to simplify payment processing for merchants operating across different sales channels and branch locations.
“At the point of sale, speed and reliability are critical to customer experience,” said Christopher James Payne, president and CEO of VeritasPay.
He said smooth and reliable payment transactions help improve customer satisfaction while supporting business growth.
The company offers payment solutions for both physical and online stores. Its in-store products include OnePOS, MobilePOS, and ExpressPOS, while its online offerings include EasyLink, Checkout, Online Banking, and Over-the-Counter payment options.
“At VeritasPay, we remain committed to empowering businesses by delivering accessible, reliable, and innovative payment solutions that drive growth and long-term success,” said Carl Henrison Tienzo, general manager and business development head of VeritasPay.
As more small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand operations, VeritasPay said merchants are looking for better visibility into sales and transactions. Its platform includes centralized reporting tools that allow businesses to monitor payment activity, track transactions by location or payment type, and review performance across branches.
The company said consistent payment acceptance across physical stores, online channels, and remote transactions is becoming increasingly important as Filipino consumers continue to embrace cashless payment options.
