Digital infrastructure company Vertiv has opened the Vertiv Academy in Mandaluyong City, a new training facility designed to give engineers hands-on experience with the company’s power and cooling technologies.
“The Vertiv Academy reflects our long-term commitment to developing world-class engineering talent, not just to support our growth but to help shape the future of digital infrastructure across the region,” said Paul Churchill, president and general manager, Vertiv Asia.
The facility aims to train both new and experienced engineers, as well as Vertiv’s channel partners, through real-world simulations using live equipment. Although based in Manila, the training hub will serve professionals across Asia.
Hands-on training, real-world exposure
Each training program is led by certified instructors and follows a global curriculum tailored to regional needs. The sessions blend online lessons, classroom instruction, and structured fieldwork, offering a complete learning experience for participants looking to gain deeper technical knowledge.
“The Vertiv Academy is more than just a training center — it’s a launchpad for the next generation of industry professionals,” said Andrew Whall, vice president of operations, Vertiv Asia. “From in-depth product simulations to globally recognized certifications, we’re enabling engineers to meet the evolving demands of data centers, telecom networks, and enterprise IT.”
Customer Experience Center opens
Alongside the training facility, Vertiv also introduced its Customer Experience Center (CEC), an interactive showroom where customers and partners can explore Vertiv’s solutions. The space features live product demonstrations, guided tours, and technical consultations with experts.
The CEC in Manila is part of Vertiv’s network of similar facilities worldwide and is designed to help customers make better-informed decisions through a more hands-on approach.
Part of a regional growth push
The opening of the Vertiv Academy and the CEC follows the company’s wider efforts to build its presence in Asia. Recent steps include expanding its workforce, opening new offices, and building customer engagement hubs.
By investing in training and education, Vertiv hopes to support the development of digital infrastructure in the region while growing a pool of skilled professionals ready to meet rising demand.
