Xiaomi has launched the Redmi Note 17 series, Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G, Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 17 5G, and Redmi Note 17, in the Philippines, offering four midrange smartphones priced from ₱13,999 to ₱32,999.
The phones come with larger batteries, faster charging, and longer software support, addressing common concerns among people who keep their devices for several years. All four new models will receive up to six years of security updates.
The two Pro models carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water. They also use Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 and were tested to survive drops of up to three meters onto granite.
Redmi Note 17 Pro Max 5G
The top model has a 10,000mAh battery, the largest Xiaomi has placed in a smartphone. Its 27W reverse charging feature also allows the phone to charge other devices.
