The Narra Technology Park Development Inc. (NTPDI) has officially partnered with the Provincial Government of Tarlac (PGT) to establish the Narra Technology Park. This agreement, led by Governor Susan Yap and NTPDI’s managing director William Johnson, sets in motion the creation of a major digital infrastructure project in the Philippines.
Spanning 47 hectares in Tarlac’s New Clark City (NCC), the Narra Technology Park will feature a 300-megawatt hyperscale data center, planned to be the largest of its kind in the country. According to NTPDI, so far, the Philippines has an estimated total operational capacity of 67 MW for data centers.
The project, with an estimated total investment of $2.7 billion, will be executed in three phases of 100 megawatts each. The first phase is scheduled to be operational by the fourth quarter of 2026.
Johnson highlighted the strategic advantages of the Philippines for such a venture, citing the country’s expansive industrial land, growing renewable energy capabilities, and favorable government support for digital infrastructure.
“The Philippines’ conditions are ripe for data center development,” said Johnson, adding that Tarlac’s NCC was selected due to its available large land parcels, connectivity, and proximity to Metro Manila and critical infrastructure.

The data center will be adaptable for single-offtaker operations, a distinctive feature in the Philippine market. The project is expected to generate substantial employment opportunities, creating over 1,500 jobs during construction and around 200 skilled positions once operational.
NTPDI aims to integrate sustainable practices in the data center, pursuing green certifications for its energy-efficient designs. The facility will leverage advanced cooling systems and prioritize clean energy, targeting 100% renewable power within five years of launch.
