Beyond has established a presence in the Philippines to give local organizations direct access to its Google Cloud engineering services, including artificial intelligence (AI), cybersecurity, and digital commerce.
The global Google Cloud engineering company said its Philippine operations would help businesses build and expand cloud-based systems. More than 75% of Beyond’s employees work as hands-on technical specialists.
“The Philippines is home to exceptional engineering talent, and we see a real opportunity to build here for the long term,” said Alan Paton, CEO of Beyond. “Our aim is to give organizations across the country direct access to the engineering expertise and Google-first thinking that help them operate and compete more effectively.”
The Philippine operations will form part of Beyond’s Asia-Pacific delivery organization, headed by Geoff Newell, delivery center director for APAC. The company plans to expand its local team and customer base across the region, but it did not disclose its hiring or investment targets.
Beyond was formed in 2023 after Manchester-based Google Cloud partner CTS merged with Appsbroker to create Qodea. The business later acquired companies specializing in engineering, cybersecurity, and digital products before rebranding as Beyond.
The Philippine expansion adds to the company’s international operations in Romania and Argentina.
