Bossjob is expanding its AI-powered recruitment tools in the Philippines as companies look for faster ways to hire workers and manage large volumes of job applications.

The recruitment platform is integrating AI assistants into its hiring system to help employers screen candidates, organize applicant data, and improve job matching. The tools are designed to reduce repetitive recruitment tasks and shorten hiring time.

Recruiters often spend hours reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and handling multiple vacancies at the same time. Bossjob’s AI-powered recruitment system automates parts of the process by recommending candidates based on hiring requirements and recruiter preferences.

The platform uses a large language model (LLM) in its applicant tracking system (ATS), allowing recruiters to search for candidates using natural language instead of manually filtering resumes. The system gradually improves recommendations by learning recruiter behavior, similar to how social media platforms personalize content feeds.

Sporting goods retailer Toby’s Sports is among the companies using the platform. The retailer used the system to simplify candidate screening and organize applicant information for its 45 branches nationwide.

Bossjob’s AI tools can also analyze resumes and explain technical skills or business terms in real time, helping HR teams better understand applicants with specialized backgrounds.

The company noted growing adoption among younger Filipino job seekers, particularly for its AI-powered CV optimization tools that reorganize resumes into a format designed to improve recruiter response rates.

“I remember applying at this big media network and only after two to three years did they get back to me, just to tell me that the position had already been filled,” TikTok creator Renz Michael said. “Now, I already have a career, and I am so glad that there are emerging recruitment platforms that ensure that you no longer get ghosted in your applications, like Bossjob.”

Bossjob is also developing AI-assisted interview question generation and AI agents designed to support recruitment processes. The company is exploring AI models such as OpenAI’s GPT, Google Gemma, and Anthropic Claude to improve hiring simulations and candidate matching.
