AI (artificial intelligence) wealth intelligence company BridgeWise acquired Chicago-based Context Analytics as it prepares to enter the Philippine financial technology market this year.
The acquisition is expected to strengthen BridgeWise’s ability to serve financial institutions and wealth advisors in the Philippines by combining its investment intelligence platform with Context Analytics’ AI-driven alternative data processing.
BridgeWise provides investment intelligence to more than 50 institutional clients and about 25 million end users worldwide in over 20 languages.
Through the deal, BridgeWise will integrate its AI-powered asset analysis with Context Analytics’ technology that measures sentiment from social media and other online sources. The combined platform aims to give financial institutions and investors broader insights that are explainable and compliant with financial regulations.
The company said the technology could help Filipino wealth institutions, including traditional and digital banks, brokerages, and fintech platforms, analyze market signals that increasingly come from online discussions and social media.
“Our vision has always been to provide the most robust financial intelligence on the planet,” said Gaby Diamant, CEO of BridgeWise. “By joining forces with Context Analytics, we have created an end-to-end powerhouse for the global financial ecosystem that can respond to the needs of the Filipino institutional and individual investor.”
The combined technology will also support pAI, BridgeWise’s AI wealth agent designed for banks, brokers, and trading platforms. The system analyzes portfolios, reviews investment strategies, and suggests adjustments through a conversational interface.
BridgeWise said the platform can help institutions provide personalized portfolio guidance to large numbers of users at the same time.
The company added that the acquisition allows it to provide a unified platform that brings together traditional financial data and alternative information sources, giving financial institutions a larger view of market activity.
Context Analytics is used by several large financial firms, including S&P Global Market Intelligence. The company specializes in processing unstructured financial data, such as news reports, corporate disclosures, and social media posts, and converting them into machine-readable data that can be analyzed by AI systems.
