De La Salle University (DLSU) has recently partnered with Canva, a visual communication platform, to integrate Canva for Campus, for the use of over 25,000 students and faculty members.

Canva’s Visual Economy Report highlights the increasing significance of visual communication in modern workplaces. Recognizing this trend, DLSU aims to equip its academic community with essential digital and design literacy skills essential in today’s job market.

“Great communication is a pillar of effective education,” Yani Hornilla-Donato, country manager of Canva Philippines, said in a media release. “As the world evolves, so must the tools that our schools and universities use to educate and communicate with students.”

Canva for Campus provides DLSU with access to premium features tailored for educational institutions, including thousands of templates for lesson plans, presentations, and infographics. 

“With Canva having AI-powered tools and apps, our students will be able to leverage technology and have the edge in being a 21st-century learner,” said Michael Manguerra, ECE, director of DLSU’s Academic Support for Instructional Services and Technology.

Canva for Campus enables educators to customize content for engaging lectures and projects while streamlining departmental workflows.
