Samsung has announced the availability of Google’s Circle to Search feature to more devices within its Galaxy lineup, specifically the Galaxy A series and the Galaxy Tab S9 FE series.
Google’s Circle to Search offers users a streamlined search experience by allowing them to search text, images, or videos with a simple gesture on their screen.
Circle to Search enables users to perform searches without the need to switch between apps. By circling, highlighting, or tapping on any content displayed on their screen, users can quickly initiate a search. The search results are powered by artificial intelligence (AI), providing rich information and context, enhancing the overall user experience.
“This expansion unlocks new possibilities for the Galaxy A series and Galaxy Tab S9 FE series and reinforces our commitment to providing cutting-edge technology for more Galaxy users,” said TM Roh, president and head of Mobile eXperience Business at Samsung Electronics.
Since its initial rollout, Circle to Search has been gradually introduced to more Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z Fold6. The feature has also seen continuous updates to improve its usability, adding functionalities such as full-page translation, homework assistance, and QR and barcode scanning.
