Coins.ph and Skyro are expanding digital payment acceptance and payout services in the Philippines through a new partnership signed at the ASEAN Tech Summit at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport City, Pasay City.

Coins.ph, a digital wallet and crypto services provider, and Skyro, a fintech company offering accessible consumer finance products, will work together on QR Ph Scan-to-Pay, QR Ph payment acceptance, and digital disbursements.

The partnership aims to make payments and payouts easier for consumers, merchants, and businesses as more Filipinos shift to cashless transactions.

“Partnering with Skyro allows us to expand the reach of our robust financial infrastructure and drive real, everyday utility for millions of users,” said Wei Zhou, CEO of Coins.ph. “Through our joint work in QR Ph acceptance and disbursements, we are making interoperable digital payments faster, safer, and far more accessible while advancing our shared commitment to digital financial inclusion across the country.”

Under the agreement, Skyro will connect to Coins.ph’s payout infrastructure to support cash distributions, credit payouts, loan disbursements, and merchant settlements. The setup will allow partner businesses to process bulk payouts instantly, reducing manual work and improving payment operations.

For consumers, the integration will support interoperable payments across Skyro’s network of more than 10,000 partner stores and more than 4,000 offline and online merchant partners nationwide.

“This agreement accelerates our roadmap to build a fully integrated digital financial ecosystem,” said Anthony Co, president of Skyro. “As fintech adoption expands beyond major metro areas into regional provinces, integrating robust QR Ph acceptance and payout rails ensures our digital financial products remain available everywhere.”

The partnership comes as digital payments continue to grow in the Philippines. Digital payment transactions reached nearly ₱25 trillion in 2025, while electronic fund transfers through clearing houses such as InstaPay and PESONet increased by 216%.

Coins.ph and Skyro plan to roll out the integrated payment and disbursement services across their digital platforms in the coming months, giving merchants and businesses more options for accepting payments and sending money.
