Fiber broadband and technology provider Converge ICT Solutions Inc. showcased business connectivity services in Bulacan, highlighting how Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad connected its offices to support member transactions in real time.
At its “Elevating Connections 2026: Bulacan” forum in Malolos City, Converge presented the cooperative’s use of Dedicated Internet Access (DIA) and Metro Ethernet (MetroE). Ligas Kooperatiba serves over 13,000 members through 10 branches and two satellite offices across Bulacan, Pampanga, Nueva Ecija, and Bataan.
“When we elevate our connectivity, we elevate our services and help build a resilient future,” said Julita Nazar, CEO of Ligas Kooperatiba ng Bayan sa Pagpapaunlad.
The cooperative uses the services to securely connect its offices and process member transactions across locations. The setup illustrates how business internet services can support institutions operating multiple branches.
For Bulacan’s manufacturing and commerce sectors, Converge presented connectivity as a way to support daily operations, coordinate supply chains, and reduce disruptions that can cost businesses time and money.
Through its large enterprise unit, Converge Global Business, the company offers DIA with equal upload and download speeds. MetroE connects two or more offices through a private network.
Its other offerings include anti-DDoS protection, which helps defend networks against attacks that overwhelm them with traffic; managed services, which outsource IT and network operations; and cloud solutions for running applications and expanding computing capacity.
“Central Luzon, particularly Bulacan, is at the forefront of economic growth,” said Sheryl Villanueva, unit head – Central Luzon at Converge Global Business. “Our mission is to empower local enterprises with world-class fiber networks that keep operations running without disruption.”
The forum covered connectivity needs among regional businesses, public institutions, and cooperatives managing increasingly digital operations.
