Coursera Inc., a global online learning platform, has launched Skill Tracks, a structured learning solution designed to help organizations address skill gaps across teams. The program uses Coursera’s Career Graph, which draws from millions of labor market data points, third-party competency frameworks, and its own skills taxonomy, to connect job roles with the skills and training needed for career growth.

Skill Tracks provide employees with guided learning paths that cover essential skills for specific functions. The first four tracks now available focus on Software and Product, IT, Data, and Generative AI, with additional areas to be introduced in the coming months. Each track combines expert-led content, practice opportunities, and skills verification to ensure learners can apply new knowledge in their roles.

“Companies are deploying new technology faster than their people can keep pace, and they need learning solutions that are adaptive and personalized,” said Greg Hart, CEO of Coursera. “Skill Tracks deliver a learning experience built around occupations and tasks, ensuring training is relevant and immediately applicable.”

The launch comes as many organizations grapple with workforce reskilling. The World Economic Forum’s Future of Jobs Report 2025 notes that 67% of Filipino employers view skill gaps as the biggest challenge to business transformation, with nearly 7 in 10 workers expected to require reskilling within five years. Coursera said its new solution is designed to help companies respond to these challenges by giving teams access to job-aligned training.

Among its features, Skill Tracks allow organizations to add their own content, ensuring training reflects company-specific tools and workflows. Learners can also earn credentials based on real-world assessments, while managers gain insights into progress and business impact.

Skill Tracks are available to Coursera’s existing customers and can be purchased individually or as part of the platform’s full catalog.
