DITO Telecommunity has teamed up with Luzon International Premiere Airport Development Corp. (LIPAD) to offer high-speed Wi-Fi services at Clark International Airport, backed by a P50-million investment.

DITO’s high-speed Wi-Fi services aim to improve the digital experience for travelers, aligning with Clark Airport’s mission to provide world-class services for passengers and stakeholders. Powered by DITO’s 5G infrastructure, this connectivity solution will be in place for the next two years, promising reliable internet access throughout the airport.

Passengers can now access free, high-speed internet, enabling seamless browsing, streaming, and productivity on-the-go. DITO has also installed working tables, charging stations, and SIM vending machines at key points across the terminal, giving travelers easy access to power and internet connectivity.

“At DITO, we are driven by a vision of a brighter future for the Filipino people, powered by our 5G technology,” said Eric Alberto, president and CEO of DITO Telecommunity. “This partnership with Clark International Airport symbolizes our shared commitment to innovation and excellence.”

DITO’s involvement at Clark Airport underscores its focus on bridging the digital divide and advancing tourism. In 2022, Clark served 629,000 international and 140,000 domestic passengers. With almost a million travelers using the airport in the first half of 2024, the initiative reflects the recovery in tourism post-pandemic.

“As we look ahead, DITO remains committed to bridging the digital divide,” Alberto said. “Our focus will always be on empowering our fellow Filipinos and ensuring we uplift our country together.”
