DoubleVerify (DV), a software platform that verifies media quality and ad performance, rolled out the expansion of its post-bid brand suitability measurement across 30 content-level categories on Meta’s Facebook and Instagram Feeds and Reels. The categories are designed to give advertisers more transparency and insight into where their ads are placed.
Earlier this year, DV introduced automated content-level controls on Facebook and Instagram. With the new rollout, the company now offers advertisers end-to-end content-level controls and reporting in 34 languages.
“Our partnership with Meta is focused on delivering real, measurable value to advertisers,” said Mark Zagorski, CEO of DoubleVerify. “By unifying suitability controls and measurement across all of DV’s content categories, we’re giving brands the tools to drive stronger performance on Meta’s Feeds and Reels, with more control, more transparency, and more impact.”
DV’s strategy combines content controls with post-bid measurement. The controls evaluate ad placements in advance and automatically exclude content that does not align with a brand’s standards. Post-bid tools then measure delivery, giving advertisers detailed reporting on performance and whether ads appeared in suitable environments.
The launch is powered by DV’s Universal Content Intelligence engine, which uses artificial intelligence to analyze video, images, audio, speech, and text. Its video analysis method, called key frame extraction, focuses only on relevant moments, which the company said allows faster and more efficient classification without compromising accuracy.
DV’s brand suitability solution for social media is part of its Media AdVantage Platform. The platform integrates media verification, ad optimization, and campaign measurement to help advertisers protect brand reputation and improve return on ad spend.
