Epson, a global printing solutions company, has introduced the new Epson SureColor SC-T7730D as its flagship model in the SureColor T-Series of large-format technical printers. The SC-T7730D is designed to deliver precise and reliable prints for professional projects suitable for various corporate and government uses.

The SC-T7730D offers improved productivity compared to its predecessor, the SC-T7270D, with a print rate of 23 seconds, making it the fastest printer in its class. It features Epson’s advanced technologies, including the 2.64″ MicroTFP printhead, ensuring accurate and detailed prints.

To minimize downtime when changing media, the SC-T7730D comes with a dual-roll function and auto-switching capability, allowing continuous printing of high-volume prints. It also supports board media and cut-sheet printing for optimized media handling. These features enable businesses to operate more efficiently, with less maintenance required.

Flat-top design

The SC-T7730D utilizes Epson’s UltraChrome XD3 6-Color pigment ink set, which provides precise and vibrant prints. The ink is water, smudge, and fade-resistant, ensuring durability in any environment. The addition of red ink enhances color saturation, making it ideal for producing high-quality Point Of Purchase (POP) signs and professional posters. The printer also supports Adobe PostScript compatibility for accurate reproduction of PDF files and detailed fine-line printing of technical CAD documents and blueprints.

In terms of design, the SC-T7730D has a sleek flat-top design that fits well in various workplace arrangements. Its compact size and full-front operations allow users to easily adjust settings and check the ink tray, resulting in seamless operation and increased productivity.

Additional features

The printer offers additional features such as an optional solid-state drive (SSD) for improved print capabilities with large amounts of data. It also supports Wi-Fi connectivity and direct printing via USB host, and it is compatible with the Epson Smart Panel mobile app for easy printing from mobile devices.

Security is a priority for the SC-T7730D, which includes authentication printing and encrypted SSD for enhanced security management. Epson provides a suite of software solutions for secure data handling and device management, including Epson Print Admin solutions and third-party integration with Epson Open Platform. These solutions enable administrators to manage devices, improve operability, and track usage either on-premise or through the cloud.
