Users reported widespread issues across Meta platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger, on Friday evening (June 12, Philippine time), with many saying they were unexpectedly logged out of their accounts.

Those who attempted to log back in encountered error messages, while others who regained access to Facebook reported seeing feeds that appeared stuck, showing posts from several hours earlier rather than updating in real time.

Downdetector, which tracks service disruptions, also registered error reports during the same period, although it was not immediately clear if the outages were directly connected to the Meta platform issues.

The disruption appeared intermittent, with some users regaining partial access while others continued to experience login and loading problems.

There are no official announcements from Meta as of this writing.
