GCash has extended its global remittance reach by teaming up with PERA HUB, a retail network under Aboitiz, to enable seamless cash-in transactions through the GCash app.

This partnership provides GCash users direct access to claim remittances and leverage PERA HUB’s extensive remittance partner network, including Remitly, IntelExpress, InstantCash, Ayannah, and soon, Uniteller. No more switching apps or waiting in lines at remittance centers.

According to GCash, the demand for remittances remains substantial, as evidenced by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ 2022 report of record-high remittances totaling $36.14 billion, underlining the pivotal role of services like GCash in aiding Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) to support their families back home.
PERA HUB, a PETNET retail brand, operates 186 company-owned locations and numerous sub-agents, backed by PETNET’s 25-year expertise in remittance, majority-owned by Aboitiz Group’s Union Bank of the Philippines subsidiaries.
