Google has announced the integration of its Generative AI (GenAI) tools into Google Workspace Business and Enterprise plans. These updates aim to streamline workflows, enhance productivity, and simplify pricing without additional add-ons.

The integration includes AI-powered features across Google Workspace apps such as Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Meet, and Chat. Using Google’s Gemini model, these tools can summarize emails, draft documents, and create content, helping businesses handle tasks more efficiently.

Businesses can also access Gemini Advanced, which is designed for complex tasks such as coding, research, and data analysis. The NotebookLM tool is included as well, providing an AI research assistant that helps teams analyze topics, generate insights, and share knowledge more effectively.

Google emphasized that the enhanced AI capabilities align with its focus on data security and privacy, ensuring customers’ data remains protected and compliant with regulations.

AI tools have already been available to Workspace Business users since Jan. 20 and will roll out to Enterprise users later this month. Pricing updates for existing customers will begin on March 17, 2025.
