GoTyme Bank has launched a raffle that will give five overseas Filipinos round-trip Cebu Pacific flights for two and cash prizes, using international remittances to attract more customers to its banking app.
The “It’s Tyme to Be Together” promo runs from Sept. 16 to Nov. 30, 2026. Customers must opt in through the GoTyme Bank app and send or receive a qualifying international remittance worth at least P5,000. Each qualifying transaction earns one raffle entry.
Five grand prize winners will receive round-trip economy tickets for themselves and one companion, along with additional cash prizes. The campaign is being held in partnership with Cebu Pacific, its official airline partner, and TapTap Send, a global remittance provider.
The raffle also highlights GoTyme Bank’s efforts to serve the international money transfer market, where banks and financial technology companies compete on transaction fees, exchange rates, speed, and convenience.
“Banking should do more than just move money; it should bring people closer to the things and the people that matter most,” said Nate Clarke, president and CEO of GoTyme Bank. “For Filipinos abroad, every remittance carries hard work, sacrifice, and love. Through our secure and transparent remittance services, and with the support of our partners at Cebu Pacific and TapTap Send, we are thrilled to offer our customers not just a better way to send money, but a real opportunity to come home and hold their loved ones close this season.”
Customers can send money through the GoTyme Bank app to more than 200 countries and territories. Transfers are available in eight currencies: Australian dollar, Chinese yuan, euro, British pound, Japanese yen, South Korean won, Singapore dollar, and U.S. dollar.
Before approving a transaction, customers can see the fee, exchange rate, expected arrival time, and the amount the recipient will receive.
Money from overseas can also be deposited directly into a GoTyme Bank account through an international bank using SWIFT, supported remittance partners such as TapTap Send, or participating Visa partners. GoTyme Bank’s SWIFT transfers are powered by Wise.
“Home is where Filipinos want to be during the holidays, and at Cebu Pacific, we are proud to play a part in bringing them there,” said Michelle Eve De Guzman, marketing director of Cebu Pacific. “Whether they are coming from Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, UAE, or Saudi Arabia, we are committed to flying more Filipinos closer to their families and loved ones.”
