Financial services company Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) said it has released ₱10 billion in loans for smartphones in 2024, with iPhone remaining a top choice for many customers. The company expects to double this figure and reach ₱20 billion by the end of 2025.

At its recent event, “Future Focus: Building Tomorrow Together,” Home Credit said it has financed 2.5 million smartphones since the start of 2024, averaging 5,000 devices per day by August 2025. The company also reported steady growth across other product categories, highlighting its expansion from a single retail booth into a nationwide financial partner.

Home Credit said it has helped more than 12 million Filipinos access a wide range of products and services, from smartphones and appliances to mobility and insurance.

“Our journey has always been about empowering Filipinos to achieve more,” said Puneet Suneja, chief sales officer of HCPH. “From 33 customers from our first day to 12 million we’ve served today, every milestone reflects our mission of making modern living more attainable, whether through a smartphone, a home appliance, or mobility solutions.”

HCPH opened its first booth in 2013 with only 33 customers. Today, it works with 18,000 partner stores and has a team of 10,000 sales associates across the country.

The company said household appliances remain among the top items financed. During peak season, it financed an average of 700 refrigerators, 1,400 televisions, and 1,100 air conditioners per day.

Mobility has also become a fast-growing segment in the Philippines. According to motorcycledata.com, the country ranks fifth globally in motorcycle markets, showing strong demand.

In response, HCPH offers flexible financing options for motorcycles and e-bikes. Since the start of 2024, the company has financed nearly 70,000 units worth ₱4.5 billion.
