As the 2023 holiday season highlighted the spirit of giving, Home Credit Philippines (HCPH) saw strong demand for mobile phones, home appliances, and electronics. The company recorded sales of P16.3 billion in the fourth quarter, driven by its “The Great 0% Festival” promotion, with December contributing P7.3 billion alone.

Mobile phones and tablets led the charge, making up 53% of total sales at P8.6 billion. Popular brands included Apple, Samsung, OPPO, and Xiaomi. Home appliances, such as those from Panasonic and LG, accounted for 15%, while televisions and electronics saw significant contributions from brands like Sony and TCL.

“At Home Credit, we recognize our role as a reliable partner in helping Filipinos achieve their aspirations,” Puneet Suneja, chief sales officer of HCPH, said in a media release. “The 2023 sales figures reflect how Filipinos embrace the holiday spirit by giving gifts to loved ones and rewarding themselves for their hard work throughout the year.”

2024 Holidays

Looking ahead to 2024 holidays, HCPH anticipates a 25% increase in sales, with new categories such as furniture, e-bikes, and sporting goods gaining traction. The company continues to offer flexible installment plans of up to 24 months, no downpayment for eligible customers, and 0% interest deals in over 15,000 partner stores across 75 provinces.

“Many Filipinos face the challenge of living paycheck to paycheck,” Suneja added. “This holiday season, we aim to make it easier for everyone to enjoy meaningful celebrations by providing incredible offers and flexible deals, ensuring every Filipino can fully embrace the spirit of giving.”
