Huawei has launched the XMAGE Exhibition Roadshow in the Philippines, featuring photos taken by Filipino photographers, hobbyists, and contributors from the Huawei global community. The roadshow highlights the company’s XMAGE imaging system and its role in advancing mobile photography.

The exhibit runs across several locations: SM City Cebu (Sept. 5–17), SM Mall of Asia (Sept. 5–10), SM North Edsa (Sept. 5–14), and SM Davao Ecoland (Sept. 6–15). Open to the public, the roadshow offers visitors a chance to see how Huawei’s latest technology enhances photography through real-world examples.

Featured works include photos from the HL Series collection, winners of local XMAGE contests, Fotomoto photographers, and Manila Bulletin contributors. The showcase also includes artworks by Mindanao artist Kublai Millan, known for sculptures that reflect local culture.

The roadshow is anchored on the Huawei Pura 80 Series, which carries the company’s Ultra Chroma Camera powered by XMAGE. The phone’s features include AI-assisted processing, improved low-light performance, and enhanced detail for portraits, landscapes, and night photography.

Huawei also announced the XMAGE Awards 2025, a global competition open to both professionals and hobbyists. Participants can submit up to 30 entries, including photos in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format (under 30 MB) and videos in MP4 format (under 400 MB). All entries must be taken with a Huawei smartphone.

Submissions are open until Sept. 15, 2025, through the XMAGE Awards website, Huawei Community, or the My Huawei app. Photographers may also submit via Instagram using the hashtag #HuaweiXMAGE, tagging @huaweixmageawards, and setting their profiles to public. Three grand prize winners will receive $10,000 each, while 97 participants will receive $1,500 each.
