Huawei unveiled its latest products during the “Unfold the Classic” flagship product launch held in Dubai on Dec. 12. The event showcased innovative devices, including the Huawei Mate X6, nova 13 Series, FreeBuds Pro 4, FreeClip in Rose Gold, and MatePad 11.5 2025, reflecting the company’s focus on advancing consumer technology.
Huawei Mate X6
The Huawei Mate X6 took center stage as the flagship device of the event. The foldable smartphone features an upgraded design inspired by planetary orbits, called the Space-Age Orbit design, and introduces a Nebula Gray edition crafted with smooth-textured Vegan Fiber. Other color options include Nebula Red and Black.
The Mate X6 is equipped with significant improvements in its display, camera, durability, and multitasking features. Its camera system includes a 50MP Ultra Aperture Camera with adjustable apertures, a 40MP ultra wide-angle lens, and a 48MP telephoto micro camera. These advancements make it a versatile option for photography enthusiasts.
For productivity, the device features Live Multi-task, which allows users to run three applications simultaneously on the unfolded screen, streamlining multitasking for users on the go.
Huawei nova 13 Series
Huawei also introduced the nova 13 Series, including the nova 13 and nova 13 Pro. The devices bring a fresh approach with a Dynamic Plaid Texture Design inspired by high-fashion trends. The series debuts a new Loden Green color option, alongside classic black and white models.
The nova 13 Series focuses on photography with multi-focal portrait capabilities for both front and rear cameras. The nova 13 Pro features a 50MP Adjustable Aperture Camera that adapts to various lighting conditions and a 3X Optical Zoom Telephoto Portrait Camera, ideal for capturing detailed shots. AI Best Expression technology enhances group photos, ensuring everyone looks natural.
Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4
The Huawei FreeBuds Pro 4, the latest addition to Huawei’s lineup of wireless earbuds, introduces lossless audio transmission for a richer listening experience. Using Huawei’s Bluetooth protocol L2HC 4.0, the earbuds offer uncompressed high-quality sound.
Noise cancellation is a key feature, with an AI algorithm and bone-conduction microphones reducing up to 100dB of background noise during calls. The earbuds’ dual-driver system ensures precise sound reproduction, creating an immersive experience.
Huawei FreeClip
The Huawei FreeClip returns with a new Rose Gold edition. Designed for both style and functionality, it features ergonomic improvements and practical enhancements, such as Drop Reminders that notify users if an earbud slips during use.
Availability
The newly launched devices will be available in the Philippines starting January 2025.
