Igloo, a regional insurtech company, has launched Igloo Tech Solutions, a new set of digital tools designed to help insurers and businesses improve their operations and reach more customers.
The new business line builds on Igloo’s experience in embedded insurance, sales intermediaries, and consumer services. Igloo Tech Solutions offers a range of customizable tools that can support growth, improve workflows, and bring artificial intelligence (AI) into insurance processes.
“Given that APAC insurers allocate only 2%-3% of their Gross Written Premiums (GWP) to technology, the industry faces a significant digital gap,” said Raunak Mehta, co-founder and CEO of Igloo. “Enhancing digitalization capabilities is not optional. It is imperative in today’s landscape.”
In the Philippines, many businesses still face barriers when it comes to using AI in daily operations. The Asia-Pacific AI Outlook 2025 report shows that 40% of companies struggle with AI integration, while 37% lack a clear strategy. Igloo hopes to fill this gap with tools that support automation and digital efficiency.
Modular, no-code tools for various business needs
Igloo Tech Solutions includes three main offerings: Igloo Agent, Igloo Consumer, and Igloo Partner. These tools are powered by Turbo, a no-code core platform that allows companies to customize features to suit their operations. The platform supports everything from agent network optimization to claims processing.
Among the new features is the AI Claims Agent, which helps users file insurance claims through a chat interface. It guides users in uploading needed documents and offers real-time claim decisions with explanations if a claim is denied.
Another tool, AI Fraud Detection, uses machine learning and language models to review claims for possible fraud. It automatically flags suspicious cases and alerts both claims and fraud teams. It also uses OCR technology to understand and analyze documents for inconsistencies or errors.
“We are making great strides in developing AI capabilities at various touchpoints to make our Tech Solutions even more compelling and unrivalled,” said Mehta.
