Converge ICT Solutions Inc. (Converge), a fiber broadband provider, and LBC Express Inc. (LBC), a courier services company, have strengthened their partnership in a recent agreement, to cater to the latter’s increasing requirements for connectivity.
The collaboration, initiated in 2015, initially saw Converge providing fiber broadband to LBC’s head office and main hangar. LBC expanded this collaboration, now with Converge powering almost 40% of LBC’s 1500+ branches nationwide.
“Converge has been a longtime partner of LBC and has helped us expand our network with reliable, full-fiber connectivity,” said Alexander Francis Deato, SVP and CIO, LBC. “I am looking forward to their further development so that we can continue to provide quality service to the many Filipinos in the urban and remote areas of the Philippines.”

This renewed partnership aims to cater to LBC’s increasing demand for fast, secure, and reliable connectivity, crucial for their operations in transportation, logistics, and remittance services during their expansion. As Converge extends its fiber footprint and network infrastructure, LBC intends to leverage this growth to reach previously inaccessible regions.
“Converge and LBC’s alliance has endured for years because we share the same goal of serving all Filipinos all over the world, particularly our unserved and underserved Filipinos,” said Jesus C. Romero, SEVP and COO of Converge. “We remain committed to digitally transforming their operations to improve their competitive edge and customer service as their business grows.”
