LG Electronics introduced its new LG XBOOM speakers during a launch event at Abenson Quezon Avenue. Media and music enthusiasts gathered to experience the dynamic sound these speakers promise, with a setting resembling a lively music festival.
Nakhyun Seong, managing director of LG Philippines, expressed his excitement over the XBOOM series, highlighting its aim to revolutionize music experiences. The event featured the Black Eyed Peas’ “Boom Boom Pow,” perfectly complementing the speakers’ powerful bass.
Mildred Bugay, product manager for Audio, showcased the LG XBOOM XL9T and LG XBOOM Go models. The XL9T boasts two 8-inch woofers for deep bass and 3-inch tweeters for crisp highs. It features dynamic lighting, karaoke functionality, guitar inputs, and an IPX4 rating for water resistance. The LG XBOOM Go, designed for outdoor use, includes track-type woofers and bass enhancement algorithms for high-quality sound, even at low volumes. Its IP67 rating ensures durability against water and dust, with up to 24 hours of playback.
The launch event also included a performance by VXON, a rising P-pop group, who entertained the audience with their rendition of “Boom Boom Pow” and original hits.
Yongwoo Park, product director for Home Entertainment of LG Philippines, concluded the event by emphasizing LG’s commitment to redefining sound quality through innovation. He noted that the LG XBOOM series is designed to enhance any gathering with its powerful sound and smart features.
