Logitech G, a brand of Logitech known for gaming and simulation gear, has launched the Logitech G522 Gaming Headset in the Philippines. The model was first announced globally in May and is now available to Filipino gamers as part of the company’s G5 series.
The Logitech G522 is designed to suit players across different game genres, offering flexibility and consistent performance. It follows the Logitech G733, one of the company’s earlier models, but comes with updated features and design changes.
Compared with its predecessor, the G522 has a more refined look, with smoother lines and a modern profile. It is designed not only for performance but also to match the personal style of players.
Comfort was a key consideration in the headset’s development. The ear cups have been redesigned with a wider shape, additional memory foam, and a softer, more durable fabric. The suspension band is flatter and more breathable, using stronger materials to last longer. Logitech G said the headset was tested with a wide range of users, including those who wear glasses or earrings, to ensure comfort during long sessions.
The headset is powered by new synchronized PRO-G drivers, paired with 48 kHz/24-bit digital signal processing, aimed at delivering clearer and more precise sound. This allows players to hear details such as footsteps or weapon reloads during gameplay.

For communication, the G522 is equipped with a 48 kHz/16-bit microphone supported by BLUE VO!CE technology. This feature lets players adjust their microphone settings with real-time filters and effects through Logitech G’s software, helping ensure their voice remains clear during online play.
The headset supports three modes of connectivity: LIGHTSPEED wireless, Bluetooth, and USB-C. This allows users to move between PCs, consoles, and mobile devices without interruptions.
Through the G HUB software and the Logitech G mobile app, players can further customize their experience. Options include a 10-band equalizer for audio adjustments, LIGHTSYNC RGB for lighting preferences, and microphone controls. Users can also save up to three personal profiles directly onto the headset.
The Logitech G522 is now available through local retailers in the Philippines.
